Chandeliers for the bedroom

A 10 × 13 ft bedroom takes a chandelier about 23 in across. Add the room’s length and width in feet — the sum, read as inches, is the diameter.

A bedroom fixture is looked at from lying down, so where the light points matters more than anywhere else: a shade, or drops that face downwards, keeps the bulb out of the eye. Keep the lowest point 7 ft above the floor.
